Amy Jan Ernst is a creator of the arts who is currently based in Vancouver, Washington. In the medium of ceramics, she makes a range of daily items for use, and she shoots a diverse range of subjects for clients and her personal collection. She gains inspiration from her travels and aims to incorporate them into her work. On the side, she also enjoys dancing and learning new styles of movement. Currently, Amy is working on opening an online ceramic shop that will include a range of colorful functional ware to liven up the home.
Born in China and raised in the United States, Amy is curious about different cultures and people from various backgrounds. To satiate this curiosity, she pursued an undergraduate degree at NYU Shanghai where she learned, advanced, and broadened her mind and interests. Her travels and study abroad has led to growth and inspiration in her life.
