Photography & Film

I bought my first camera in 2012, and ever since then it goes every with me. From taking photojournalism in high school to being a yearbook editor, I have learned and honed my “eye” to find the shot. Most of the work I do today is for my personal collection, but every once in a while I’ll shoot senior and family portraits.

Celebrate Women Project

For that past 3 years, I have taken portraits of 25 women on 3 different continents. These photos are a part of the project CELEBRATE WOMEN which is a photography initiative that challenges gender stereotypes. Women are invited to respond to the question, “what empowers you? For me, it is an honor to be able to capture and share stories of women around the world.

Intercontinental Collaborations

During my time in Accra Ghana, I filmed a documentary about dance. It features 2 students from the University of Ghana, one a local and the other a visiting student from the United States. It explores the relation between different styles of dances and how genres and people interact when placed into the same space.
